Are you seriously telling me that I'll be 3 months in a few days?? I better get cracking then! Practice my tumble turns and gripping techniques some more! Ciao, bella!

Bummer

I was psyched about this coming weekend since I will be going home to Makati. But I just remembered that I will be having my shots again. And the term 'shot' doesn't get exciting even when there's alcohol involved - swab of isopropyl ones, of course. My happy balloon suddenly got deflated and I'm just bumming hard, man. Bumming hard.

Woodstock 1969

Next week is Woodstock 1969's 41st anniversary and we want the woodstock high!
3 days of peace love and music is the ride that I wanna get into.
I can hear it now! There's Ravi Shankar! And ... Joan Baez... Janis Joplin... Joe Cocker... Man oh man! Even Jimi Hendrix!
Oh darn! I thought I was on a flight going to 1969. Turned out that it was just my Mama's ipod. Anyway, happy anniversary Woodstock! We salute the legends!

Papa Quality Time

Papa and I were chatting up a storm. But I believe that he's secretly trying to tire me out just so I'd fall asleep.

His plan failed. He got tired while I'm all revved up. Now who to talk to??? I ain't sleepy yet.
You?
Wanna talk?

Play Time

You know what sign I'm flashing you underneath my mittens? Nah.. I'm still too young to tell you guys to sod off! It's the okay sign. I'm telling you that it's okay now to play with me. I connect and communicate with people now with my coos and gurgles. I laugh and show my wickedly cute smile whenever talking to them. I've been practicing flipping on to my tummy already so I'd be more active when playing with you guys. So, what say you? Wanna have fun?

Trippy

In every activity we do, there's always a soundtrack to it.
For example, when my Mama tries to get me to burp after my feeding time, she'd sing Disco Inferno by The Tramps. Y'know, 'burp baby burp... disco inferno'.
When it's time for me to practice flipping on to my tummy, Mama would sing Turn Turn Turn by The Byrds.
If she wants me to exercise my fingers and hands for a better grip, she'd sing Hold Me Now by The Thompson Twins.
And now, she's waiting for Papa so they can switch their shift in taking care of me. She's taking snaps of me on her cam while singing 'don't be long... please don't you be very looooong..' from the song Blue Jay Way by The Beatles. That was a pretty trippy song and it was a pretty trippy ride. The result? A pretty trippy/freaky picture of me. But I'm totally diggin' it.

Test Drive

My mama read somewhere that "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, brandy in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

So the body is just our vessel to get to our ultimate high, our nirvana, our spiritual birthplace. Well, if that were true then me ma and pop are definitely on the right track. And I can't wait to use mine for a test drive. Woohoo!
